Artist/Songwriter/Producer 

Marc Eric is an American-born singer, songwriter, and guitarist who has worked with some of the industry's most notable artists. Today, Marc is bringing his experience to a whole new level with Stone Blue Symphony. The band plans to release its first full-length album in 2022. 

In 2021, Marc Eric founded Stone Blue Symphony. In the midst of a global pandemic, and lots of time to think about what tomorrow may hold, he began writing songs that surprised most of his friends and bandmates. In his words, "Music tells a story of a life lived in a time to which we can all relate.” With a refined new sound, melodic guitar tones, expressive vocals, and a renewed vision, Stone Blue Symphony is ready to take the stage. The future starts now. 

Accomplishments

There is a wide range of talent and experience in Marc's music background. He jokes that he is on a music city tour. Having lived and worked in Los Angeles, Nashville, and now Austin, TX. 

As part of Marc's 25 years on the LA music scene, he wrote/played guitar on Graham Bonnet's "The Day I went Mad" which also included Slash, Vivian Campbell (DIO, Def Leppard), and Tim Bogert (Jeff Beck). A movie soundtrack for New Line Film’s “High Roller” starring Michael Imperioli, and Michael Nouri which include Marc’s Music Video “Yesterdays” on the DVD extras. TV credits include songs written for Joan of Arcadia (CBS) and Judging Amy (Song of the Season) (CBS). Numerous concerts with artists such as Savoy Brown, Warrant, and others.  

He then spent six years in Nashville, where he played live with Billy Cox (Hendrix), Kenny Olson (Kid Rock), and many other artists. Writing songs with some of the best Nashville songwriters, such as Rich Fagan, Randy Boudreaux, and Anthony Smith, to name a few. He also wrote a song with Tommy Jennings (Waylon Jenning’s brother and band mate).  

A diverse list of artists and actors are among his producing credits. Produced and played on “Dirt Cheap” written by ACM award winner Luke Bryan and performed by Country artist Kellie Lynne. Marc Wrote and produced Candy Coburn’s single “Do you Want It” which is still playing on the radio. Marc wrote several songs with and produced Cowboy Troy. Other notable production credits include Jared Blake’s ( from NBC’s “THE VOICE”) single “Don’t Mind”, Toby Keith Band, Jeremy London, and many more. 

Several tracks on Marc's 5th album, "They", feature Rich Redmond on Drums (Jason Aldean) and Chuck Wright on Bass (Quiet Riot). 

In 2013, Marc released his fourth album entitled Reaching for Orion. The UK magazine FIREWORKS described some of the album cuts as sounding like lost 1970's super-group vinyl. There was a great addition to the album in the form of the first fully licensed remake of "Where the Streets Have No Name".
